Piña Colada Cupcakes
After a family wide debate as to when this fruity fantasy originated, we did a little research...
"The Caribe Hilton in Puerto Rico claims that their bartender, Ramon “Monchito” Marrero created the piña colada on August 15, 1954 after spending 3 months perfecting the recipe."
Thus, although you might find yourself dreaming up images of a Hawaiin vacation at the very sight of this drink, it is in fact Puerto Rican!
56 Years Later... and we're still devouring them, only now it's in the form of a CUPCAKE!
